Grameen Gurukul

Nurturing Rural Minds, Building Future Leaders

By Anya Garnaik

Why Grameen Gurukul?

Across India’s villages, countless young minds brim with ideas, dreams, and ambitions. Yet, many of these ideas remain unfulfilled simply because these youth lack the tools, guidance, and opportunities needed to bring them to life. Grameen Gurukul bridges this gap by offering practical, hands-on skills that ignite entrepreneurship and fuel the growth of local economies. Through culturally relevant, accessible training, we help rural youth turn their potential into progress — creating self-reliant changemakers who uplift their communities from within.

Founder’s Note

I am Anya Garnaik, a Grade 11 student at Strawberry Fields High School and the founder of Grameen Gurukul. Passionate about empowering rural youth, I launched this initiative to provide essential business skills—like budgeting, branding, and digital payments—in local languages such as Punjabi and Hindi. Through interactive workshops and video content, Grameen Gurukul bridges the gap between education and opportunity in underserved communities. As a young leader, I am committed to fostering entrepreneurship and leadership among my peers, helping rural youth unlock their potential and become confident changemakers.
